In today's episode, I want to talk to you about using the bath to help you to beat your anxiety

and depression and any other ills you may be feeling.

I know that sometimes we look for the bigger answer, the bigger, quote, cure, but often we can do quite well

to do something simple for ourselves and it really can make a difference.

I have a quote I'd like to share with you and this is from Sylvia Plath.

There must be quite a few things that a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them.

And I want us to take that today and really let that sink in a little bit.

Maybe you can feel better by taking a bath.

We all do our regular routine cleansing and cleaning, however it is that we are choosing showers or whatever,

but sometimes we can change it up a little bit.

And so I wanted to share some of the interesting research that's been done on bathing

and getting in the tub and temperatures and frequency of bathing and so forth,

so that we can really start to take this tub that may be in our homes seriously.

Now, if you don't have a tub, I want to offer you another way that you can immerse a part of your body

and I would love to have you consider doing the foot soak.

And if you don't have a tub, you know, I have lived in places that didn't have a tub

and the foot soak can actually be a great substitute.

So we don't always need to give up totally.
