Hey, everybody.

I got a great one today.

And you know, usually when I say that, I'm lying.

But not today.

Not today.

That's because we got Cecile Richards, someone who is, I would say, an icon.

Cecil Richards, of course, was the president of Planned Parenthood from 2006 to 2018

and as co-founder of Super Majority of Political Action Committee that focuses on getting

women voting and elected to office.

Planned Parenthood is the number one provider of reproductive services for women in the United States,

serving millions of women a year across our country, providing a whole host of services, birth control,

cancer screenings, STD tests, pregnancy-related services, primary care, and abortions.

Now, in 2011, we were having a debate in the Senate about the budget, and Arizona Senator

John Kyle, Republican colleague, went to the floor to attack funding for Planned Parenthood

and said, that's what he said, quote,

if you want an abortion,

you go to Planned Parenthood,

and that's well over 90% of what Planned Parenthood does.

Well, that was actually a little off.

Actually, 3% of Planned Parenthood's budget went to providing abortions, at least that year.

And after that was pointed out, Kyle's staff released a statement saying,

this is a quote, his remark was not intended to be a factual statement.
