Hey everybody, we've got an interesting one today. You know, for a change. I have two guests to talk about this midterm ahead of us. John Anzolone, who's a pollster, who works for among other politicians, Joseph R. Biden, the president of the United States.

And for his second time on the Al Franken podcast, my friend Dee Taylor, D. is the head of

Unite Here, the hospitality workers union, who, in my opinion, do the best ground game in the

country. They hit the doors, they knock on doors,

and talk to folks on their front steps. Now, let me tell you a little something I've observed in

politics over the last 15, 20 years, and that is that polling, traditional polling and political

races is just getting less and less

reliable. We've seen in the last several cycles polling that's just off. It's just harder and

harder to poll Americans now. Americans don't particularly like talking to pollsters. It used to be,

of course, that pollsters could poll people by calling

their home phones and get them. Now, not so much. It's just harder. And the results have been much

less reliable. Now, I have this political action committee, Midwest Values Pack, MVP. And like all

packs, we raise and then give away money to

candidates or state parties that I support. And over the years, MVP has been investing more and

more of our resources in ground game. Last cycle, we were the first to give to unite here,

both in Nevada and in Georgia.

United Here ended up knocking on three million doors in Georgia just for the runoff.

And, of course, we got Asaf and Warnock, because of that, thank God.
