I've got two wonderful guests today with one incredible story to really share with everybody and kind of coming from a different retail angle than we've covered a lot on the podcast before. So Casey, Caitlin, thanks so much for being on the show with me today. Thanks so much for having us.

Awesome. Well, I would love to just dig into the backstory. Caitlin, why don't you start us off? You guys are a family-owned business. You've got

quite a history. Tell me how the business first got started. My mother, Marie Whitmire,

she bought the store back in 1995, and about two weeks later found out she was pregnant with twins, which was Casey and I.

We grew up in retail.

It was really important for my mom to have, like, us involved in everything that she did.

I think also even just in terms of like financial means, like she had to

take us to work in order to make it work. And we just learned the tricks of the trade. And

after graduating college, expanded marmalade to multiple locations. And kind of here we are today

with our little family empire.
