A big part of the struggle with anxiety is this mistake and belief that we can't handle

That we can't take these symptoms and sensations, the thoughts that we can't handle it.

But I'm here to tell you that you can tolerate it and that's actually a part of getting

out of it, out of the cycle of stress, more adrenaline, and cortisol, and more anxiety.

A central component of healing from high stress, anxiety, and panic is really learning how

to tolerate anxious feelings.

Life has both ups and downs, and understanding that we can tolerate the downs, and that

we don't have to avoid them is vital.

The inability to tolerate distress is a precise predictor of anxiety.

with, from those thoughts, the idea that you have an inability to tolerate distress.

You have it, you just aren't practicing it, and that continues to make the stress build
