We have the honor of interviewing Dr. Asherina Reame and for those of you who are not familiar with Dr. Reame she goes by psyched mommy over on Instagram and her account has made a huge waves in my life as well as Amy's.

Yes, thank you so much for having me. I am so excited to be back.

I am psyched mommy on Facebook and Instagram but what you might not know about me is I'm a licensed psychologist.

I specialize in parinatal mental health, meaning that I really help women in their families throughout the journey of fertility pregnancy postpartum and beyond.

But before I began really focusing on this field, I actually worked in the field of eating disorder recovery and I worked in residential treatment for those that were struggling with eating disorder.

So I just have a passion with working particularly with women through the lifespan and all of the issues that can arise.

And that is one reason that I know you speak so well on body image.

We're just closing out the first quarter of this year and that is historically a time where people make big fitness goals.

Do you find the start of the year to be a trigger for women when it comes to body image?

Because what we know is that the diet and fitness industry really rev up their marketing during this time.

Yes, yes, all of my clients, I feel like many of them, I don't want to say all of them, have really become fixated on the goals.

I mean, when we think about this globally and we think about what happens during the time, you know, the new year and going into the first quarter as you mentioned, the marketing industry is really targeting women.
