Welcome back to The Incomparable, everybody.

I'm your host, Dan Morin.

Now, we have kind of an occasional series here at The Incomparable where we talk to writers

about their books.

And I've been lucky enough to be on several of those episodes and to have some good chats with folks.

But this time we're turning things on their tables a little bit because we're going to talk.

I get to interview somebody else about their book, which I'm very excited about.

And of course, our guest is my good friend and noted author, Anthony Johnson.

Welcome, Anthony. Hey, hello. It's really nice talk to you.

We just did this not long ago. We're on my books, but I am excited to be able to turn the tables on you.

I was just going to say the tables are turned. Exactly. That's right. I will subject you to the

questioning. Now, of course, you have written many, many, many things over your career.

You've done a lot of work in different genres and media, you know, video games, comics, etc.

But recently, your efforts seem to have primarily focused on mysteries. And you have written two

books so far in your series, the dog sitter detective,

the first of which, it's, you know, it's been out for a little bit, but the paperback comes

out in the U.S. in March. And there is a second book, The Dog Sitter Detective takes the

lead, which has also come out, I believe, this year, earlier this year, but the hardback debuts in the U.S. in May, e-book and audiobook already available. You can find

them, of course, at your favorite bookstore. And you should, I will urge you now. We're going to

talk a little bit about these books generally, and, you know, towards the end, maybe we'll fire off spoiler horn and talk a little bit more in depth about plot
