And it's about a seventh grade teacher.

It's the story of a woman who is making her way in life

in her young adult years in the aftermath of a terrible

car accident in college in which her passenger lost her life. And the protagonist whose name

is whimsy, she sustained, you know, along with the emotional and psychological traumas that go along with an accident like that,

she also sustained facial scarring.

So that's what this book is about in a nutshell, and I really enjoyed it.

It feels lived in and human and real in the way of good fiction.

And I just love talking with Shannon McLeod, who has a promising future. She's a young

writer. And I don't know, we just got along. It was fun to talk with her and to hear about her life
