| 0:00.0 | Welcome everyone to the score fantasy football podcast. I'm your host Justin Boone, the lead fantasy analyst at the score. Thanks for spending some time with us today. You're definitely not going to regret it. Jamie Eisenberg is CBS Sports. He's going to be joining me shortly to go over some of the unsettled backfields around the league and we're to try to provide some clarity on how those might play out in week six and beyond. Before we bring him in, though, let's take a look at my top trade targets this week as we kick things up a notch with our friends at Frank's Red Hot. Let's Frank it up. And the first name on my list heading into week 6? Zay Flowers on the Ravens. The rookie has been consistently producing in terms of catches and yards, but he's tied for 41st in fantasy points per game and that's because he hasn't found the end zone yet. However, if you look a little deeper, you'll see that he has the 10th best target share among all receivers at 29% and he's 20th in targets per game at his position. The touchdowns are going to come with that kind of volume, so get flowers on your roster while you still can. Next up, Tony Pollard. The Cowboys Star was a top eight fantasy back over the first three weeks. |
| 1:12.6 | He was averaging 17.1 fantasy points per game, but he struggled to produce over the last two outings. |
| 1:17.6 | That number dropped to just seven fantasy points per contest, and that's easily explainable given the injuries in the Cowboys' Offensive line, |
| 1:24.6 | the tougher matchups against the 49ers and the Patriots run defenses, |
| 1:28.7 | and the game scripts. Dow's blew out the Patriots in week four and then got blown out by the 49ers |
| 1:33.4 | in week five. And in both instances, Pollard didn't play his usual compliment of snaps in the fourth |
| 1:38.2 | quarter. But he's going to get back on track in week six. He's going up against the Chargers |
| 1:42.0 | defense. That's the seventh easiest fantasy opponent for running backs. And after the Cowboys week seven by, the offensive line should be healthier, |
| 1:49.2 | and that should lead to a much stronger stretch for Pollard the rest of the way. So see if you |
| 1:53.2 | can buy low on him. And then the last name on my list this week, Chris Olave. And similar to Pollard, |
| 1:58.6 | Alave had three big games to start the year. He had eight for 112 in week one, six for 86 in week two, and then eight for 104 in week three. But he followed it up with two duds. He has just three catches for 16 yards over the last two weeks, though he did salvage his week five performance with a touchdown. We also had the scare during warmups when he was dealing with that toe injury. He did end up playing through it. And the hope now is that Derek Carr's shoulder injury is going to continue to improve and that's going to unlock the Saints passing game again. But the schedule also lightens up for New Orleans after this week. They're going to get Average or plus matchups against the Jaguars, the Colts, the Bears, and the Vikings. |
| 2:34.8 | So this is going to be the cheapest that you can get a lave all season. I'm trying to get them this week for sure. And if you're wondering which players you should trade to try to acquire these guys, just go and take a look at my trade value charts. Those went up on Wednesday morning. That'll give you an idea which pieces might get a deal done. and then you go and make some offers and take your roster and frank it up, |
| 2:52.5 | just like our friends at frank's red hot all right let's get our |
| 2:55.7 | guest in here jamy eisenberg a cbs sports and you can find all his content over there including |
| 3:00.7 | the fantasy football today podcast you should also be following him on twitter x at jamie eisenberg |
| 3:06.1 | just a pros pro consistently great content. And I |
| 3:09.5 | can tell you, he's a good fantasy player too. Whenever news breaks, I know Jamie's someone that I need |
| 3:13.5 | to beat to go make pickups in our leagues together. And we always love having them on here. So Jamie, |
| 3:17.9 | welcome back to the show, man. How you've been, dude? How's the season treating you so far? |
| 3:21.7 | Everything's been great so far. Justin, thanks for having me. Yes, it's fun. |
| 3:25.7 | I think that I see correctly that you spent all of your fab on DiMarcato? I spent a lot on him, and it's not so much that I love him, but I have KeontƩ Ingram on my team. I like stockpiling running backs in that league. I have Devon A. Chan who just got hurt, and I'm trying to make a comeback here. |
| 3:42.7 | I am so far ahead of everyone. stockpiling running backs in that league. I have Devon A. Chan who just got hurt. And I'm trying |
