This is Scott Pauley, and this week we are talking about current questions and Bible answers.

We're going to begin shortly to address some specific questions that have been submitted

are bearing on people's minds at this particular time. But I'm trying to lay a Bible foundation to give

some context, not just for this series, but for what to do with your questions. We began our study

back in the first books of the Bible,

in the book of Deuteronomy specifically. Today, I bring you to one of the wisdom books,

to the book of Proverbs, Proverbs chapter number 22, to show you, I think, some principles

that will help us greatly, first of all, to know what to do with our own questions

and then to be able to help those around us.

Proverbs is a book of sentence sermons.

Most of the verses stand alone,

but occasionally in the book of Proverbs,

there is a passage where a number of verses

are all connected, woven together by a single theme

like diamonds on a strand, and there's a common thread woven throughout, and we come to one

of those in Proverbs chapter number 22, which I think is really significant because in a book

that is all about wisdom for living, he deals with questions.
