On Thursday, August 23rd, 1973, a man armed with a machine gun walks into a bank in Stockholm.

He fires around and takes four people hostage.

The man demands that his friend, Clark Olofson, is released from prison.

Six days later, the police are able to free the hostages and arrest the man.

But during those six days, the hostages became friendly with the rubbers.

This is later called the Stockholm Syndrome.

This is the story of how the Stockholm syndrome came to be your thing.

This all started on a sunny day in August of 1973.

On Thursday, August 23rd, 1973, a man walked into Credit Banken, a bank office in the central parts of Stockholm.

He was armed with an automatic rifle and when he was inside the bank,

he took out this rifle from inside his coat. Then he said in English, the party has started and

fired into the air. He then points out three women that he wants to keep as hostages, and he brings them upstairs

to the vault.

The three women are Christine Enmark, who is 23 years old, Elizabeth Olegren, who is 21, and Bigitta Lundblad, who was 31 years old.

Christine Enmark later describes that she doesn't remember much of this

until she's sitting outside the vault with her hands and feet tied.

She is then terrified.
