Last time on Voices for Justice, we narrowed our focus on the year leading up to Alyssa's

disappearance.

We discussed another incident of our father taking Alyssa to the desert and attempting

to sexually abuse her.

We explored the extra surveillance measures taken to watch Alyssa and we went over the

extreme differences in the way Alyssa and I were treated by our father.

And despite things at home only getting worse for Alyssa during this last year, she

actually seemed happy and optimistic about her future and turning 18.

In this episode, we are going deep into the timeline of May 17, 2001.

The day Alyssa seemingly disappeared.

Building this timeline was difficult.

The police didn't look into Alyssa's disappearance until many years after she was gone.

So things like traffic camera footage, school security footage, cell phone tower pings, text

message logs, call records from our home phone, and even the school attendance records

are all gone now.
