Hey everybody and welcome back to I Just Want to talk about the Bible.

If this is your first time, I just want to welcome you and say that I'm so glad that you're here.

My name is Christian Keeter and I am on staff with an international discipleship ministry called mentoring men for the

pastor. My wife and I and our two daughters live on the east coast of the U.S. in North Carolina.

And this podcast is just something that I really felt like the Lord was calling me to do.

I felt like he has called me to teach, and this is an

avenue to do it. And so everything that we do on this podcast will fall under one of three

primary categories. The first category is just what the Lord is showing me personally in my own life,

because I want to share it with you too because I believe

that if the Lord showed it to me and then I share it with you, it'll have power and that it'll

affect your life just like it affected my life because it didn't originate with me. It originated

with the Lord. So just whatever things he's teaching me. The second category is a question and

answer. And so if you have any questions that you would

And then the third category is tools for how to better read your

Bible, just learning how to read the Bible better. I know that I have benefited immensely

whenever people have put more tools into my hand. So for example, you may or may not have heard of the Bible project.

The Bible project, they make short animated videos that talk about biblical themes. Dr. Tim Mackie

is kind of the guy who's over at all. I have benefited so much from what they've done because

they've put tools in my hands that have made

the Bible come alive in new ways and so I want that also to be a part of this podcast and so one
