Lyons, who is an ordained minister standing with the Christian Church, the Disciples of Christ, currently serves as the senior minister of University Christian Church in

San Diego, and is the co-executive director of progressive Christianity.org. He is a passion for pursuing

social justice for the marginalized, demonstrating the good news of God's radically inclusive love,

and proclaiming a relevant message for today's ever-changing world.

He is such a brilliant mind when it comes to the cultural issues we face,

especially in the face of radical conservatism, around how do we treat issues like embracing the LGBTQ community?

What does the Bible say about this?

Who is the historical Jesus?

And how does how the historical Jesus taught us to love apply to where we are today?
