Sometimes I read about God's miraculous work in the Bible, and I wonder, will I ever feel God's power at work in my life in that way?

I mean, you read the Book of Acts, and it's amazing how God's spirit moved.

And maybe you're listening to this today and you're wondering

that too. Like, does God even care about the little details or about the big struggles in my

life? Or am I in this by myself? Welcome back to the prayersers of Rest podcast.

I'm your host Asherita Chuchu, and this season we are resting in the promises of God.

Specifically today, we're praying through God's promise of spiritual power for those who believe in Him.

So as we begin, take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's reading comes from Ephesians chapter 1 verses 18 to 20.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know

his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength

that he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead. So let's begin by reciting God's goodness, praising him for who he is and for what he has done in our lives.

Almighty God, you are the all-powerful one.

You are the one who created this world and this universe and set it into motion with just words.

You spoke and it happened.

You are our creator. you are our God.

You are our sovereign one, the old powerful one.

One word from you, Jesus, and the storms quieted, and the waves ceased their turmoil. One word and the dead were raised to life.

So in the next few moments, praise God for the generous gifts that he has bestowed on you, that He has generously given

you His own Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.

If you belong to Him, that spirit resides in you.

So take time this morning.
