I've been talking most of the day about the most important thing that's happened in

the news.

I guess the last 24 hours in Twin Cities, a prison employee, a corrections officer, Joseph

Gamm was murdered inside Stillwater State Prison.

The first time in the history of Minnesota that that has happened that an inmate has killed

the guard or a corrections officer, I should say, in the line of duty.

As I mentioned, I've been doing a series of stories about change in segregation policies

and how some of the corrections officers believe that's led to an increase in assault.

I had one employee who did a silhouette interview.

He disguised voice and everything else could protect him and from other inmates and as

well as protect his job.

And he said, essentially, direct quote in my story in March, if things don't change with

these security problems, someone's going to die.

Unfortunately, that was prophetic.

And normally I'd be excited to tell you we've got an exclusive, you know, I like exclusives
