And now a man who has never had a relationship with a true Joe Susere.

0:28.3

We're back on garage logic in 82 degrees. I believe still mostly sunny outside. I understand it's supposed to cloud up a little bit more later today and tonight and then maybe some rain moving in late this evening.

I know Rick I'm going to be out at the torch light 5k tonight. I was really torn. There was a couple of great things going on tonight that were right in my wheelhouse.

0:53.3

I'd like to run the torch light 5k right down the Aquatennial parade right every year. It's a great time starts at 730 by the Basilica and then you run down to like the San Anthony main area where they have a couple of cold beverages available along the river. It's usually a great time.

1:09.3

But also tonight have you ever been a fan of the Lamont cransden band. Yes. They are playing in Excelsior Commons down right along Lake Minnetaka tonight from I think 7 to 9.

1:22.3

And the race is from 730. Well, I should be done by 8, but I don't think I can get to Excelsior before their last song. So I'm still kind of torn between the two.

1:33.3

You're going to run. I know you want to do. I know I'm probably going to run. I need to run. I didn't run this morning because I thought well I'll run tonight. So I that was my excuse for sleeping in this morning. So if I don't run and I just go to listen to Lamont cransden then I've just been going to throw everything off.

1:47.3

Hey, let's talk about the Minnesota twins. Reverse you over there. Talk to me. Should they be buyers or should they be sellers? Well, but let me give you let me just tell you where they are right now.

1:58.3

Their record is 44 and 50, which is not great. However, they're in second place in the central seven and a half games back. They finished the break. What were they eight and two?

2:10.3

92 on their homes. 92 on the homestan. So they were there were sizzling hot. Now they go to Kansas City for three games. Then Toronto and Boston, which is no picnic. But if let's just say they can sweep Kansas City get within three games of 500.

2:24.3

Let's say maybe they're five or six games out of first because Indians have been struggling. What do you do? Well, and that's why they're in this situation because of the division that they play in.

2:35.3

Cleveland obviously I still believe is the best team in this division, but they have shown a lot of weaknesses. And if they don't get any bullpen help, they're they're going to be wanting out in the playoffs.

2:46.3

But the thing that the twins, I guess, have is they have time right now. You have just shy at two weeks before the deadline on the 31st. And you were kind of waiting for the first big name to move. And that's you know, Machattos essentially traded the Dodgers right now.

3:00.3

They have some pieces that they could move, but they also have time to see if they can somewhat get, which is laughable to think about at this point, but to see if they can get back into it.

3:09.3

I personally think that they should wait until the last minute to move, which is July 31st, right. Unless you're being unless you are blown away for a guy like Brian Dozier Eduardo Escobar or one of their pictures, whether it's a starter relief picture.

3:23.3

I don't know how much of a market that there's going to be for any of their players, but if you are blown away, then you then you have to move that player.

3:31.3

Well, you would think there would be a market for a guy like Dozier, but he hasn't really been hot lately, but he had a terrible first half of the season.

3:40.3

He wasn't that good. And he's still only hitting what 220. He's up to 230, but you know, okay, but out of nowhere, all of a sudden he's got 16 home runs. He does.

3:49.3

He's like a pace for 25 to 30 home runs, even though he's not having a great season.

3:54.3

And he's been a player who has routinely had really good second halves of season. I know Patscan argue because there's only 42% left of the season, but he's been a guy that has had really good second halves of seasons.

4:05.3

So if yeah, if someone that missed out on a guy like Mani Machado calls you and says, hey, we're willing to give you X Y and Z. Then yeah, you need to make that move.

4:14.3

Yeah, so it's going to be a tough decision because you remember last year the twins started selling while at the same time they started winning.
