A double whammy for Florida. I'm Lisa Lissera Fox News. Hurricane Milton becoming more powerful

as Florida officials are warning people in its path to be ready to leave.

This is not a storm you want to take a risk on.

Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis says even after some fell to lean,

it's a good bet Milton will be much stronger.

The effects of that, not just for the storm surge but for wind

damage and debris would be really really significant ahead of an expected

Wednesday landfall Governor DeSantis says there are already lines of gas

stations and crowding evacuation routes. He adds for those on Florida's Gulf

Coast right now, you do have time to to get out. Milton is a category 5 storm and may

weaken some by Wednesday. Governor DeSantis says whatever plans Central

FEMA, Administrator Dan, Chris Well, says there are already personnel in the state

as they continue to look for victims from Hurricane Helene.

They'll all be available to support people as the storm continues to pass.
