Oh, here we go. Another addition to the move the sticks podcast is back up and running it for DJ today.

I am Rhett Lewis alongside my man Bucky Brooks and Bucky good to be back here with you in the summer.

It's kind of been, you know, it's been a wild summer really in the college football landscape as we've gotten into all of the name image likeness talk.

We've gotten into all of the college football playoff expansion talk as we look forward to a college football season that is much more normal than last year.

So it's been a bit more of an recruiting, of course, has been back in full swing.

And now we are looking forward to this next group of college quarterbacks, top level top flight quarterbacks coming up after seeing, you know, five quarterbacks going the first round again at the NFL draft this past season.

So it's been an exciting summer and I'm really excited about the fall, man. So we're going to kind of have an episode that's geared towards that here today.

Yeah, no, I think I think it's always interesting. We remember our time to talk about quarterbacks and you know, like we're seeing so many guys come off the board and recent years and so many of these young guys having success right away that you're seeing more and more teams just say, hey, we can get it done with our quarterback playing on a rookie deal.

Trying to find a way to build a super team around them. So which of the next generation of quarterbacks will give our team the best opportunity. And so when you look at the class, the upcoming class and the quarterbacks that we're talking about into 2022 class, there are a lot of intriguing possibilities.

I won't say that they're the the sure fire guys that we've talked about in the past at this time of year, but there's certainly plenty of guys who have first round potential that we'll continue to talk about.

Yeah, no question. No question. And you know, our pal, DJ has already kind of been diving into the early scouting looks at some of those guys we perceive as top flight quarterbacks in college football this year and as top flight prospects heading into the NFL.

Potentially next year, depending on their college eligibility, of course. And your UNC tar heels have one of those quarterbacks in Sam Howell.

DJ didn't early scout on Sam and say, reminded him a lot of Baker Mayfield will dig into that a little bit. I'm actually excited to go down to Tibado Louisiana on the campus of nickel state university as I do every year for the men in passing academy.

Where I'll get a chance to see Sam Howell in person along with some 40 of the nation's best quarterbacks who are invited by Archie Manning to be on staff to coach up the high school kids that are in attendance at the camp and the kind of put on a show for them as well in a handful of workouts that they'll get to do under the watchful eye of guys like me and more much more talented and much more quarterback experience guys like Peyton and even more.
