corporate social responsibility or CSR and its role in employee and customer

experience.

Both employees and consumers are increasingly motivated to support companies who share their values.

Whether this is the company that employees choose to work for or companies that customers choose to buy from, the values and initiatives a company supports holds a lot of importance.

To help me discuss this topic, I'd like to welcome John Friedman, Sustainability Manager at WGL, also a fellow author and an expert on the

subject of corporate social responsibility.

So first, why don't you tell me a little bit about your career and your involvement in

CSR? Hey Greg, first of all, thanks for having me on.

Great to be here.

You know, I'd like to be honest, and so I'm going to say that my career in CSR really happened by accident.

By backgrounds and corporate communications communications and one of my roles was helping
