On this episode of the Symbolic World Podcast, I'm playing for you a video which is called Cannibal Babies and the Resurrection.

It's a video that it's kind of funny because I put out the video and then I noticed that it wasn't getting as many views as other videos.

And then, you know, strangely, I guess it should have, but it dawned on me afterwards that

the title could be misleading or strange and some people might hesitate to click on it. And I think

the thumbnail that I put was an actual image of a cannibal on it. And so, and so I actually

talked to some people and a priest told me that he did watch a video but that, you know,

he was, he waited until he was at home at evening to watch it because he was a little

worried to watch it at work or to listen to it when other people were around.

So there's nothing very strange about this podcast or the video.

It is mostly about answering a, there's a medieval scholar on Twitter who started making fun of early Christians and how they were concerned with cannibal babies.

That is, the idea that you could have a person who eats only human flesh and then would have a child who eats only human flesh.

And the question is,

you know, what does that mean for the resurrection of the body? And so the scholar was making

fun of it quite a bit. And hopefully I have given an explanation to the problem of why, at least,

this question of cannibal babies is so important and why it's relevant

to us today related to questions of self-reference and question of circularity, circularity

of arguments, circularity in our culture.
