It's 7.04 a.m.

But I've been jet lag for the whole week I've been here.

Been waking up at 4.30 5 a.m every morning. Oh yeah, you messaged me at like 2 a.m. the other night. I was like, why is Will up at 2 a.m? I don't think about jet lag that much going in that direction because I'm so much more used to going in like the opposite direction,

going east, which you know comes with its own problems. But you're four hours behind.

is always with. Luke Savage, welcome back, everyone. Yeah, I'm still in, I'm in Snowy, Toronto,

as usual. And Will is joining us from somewhere in the bosom of the evil empire, I believe, where he is extremely jet-legged.

That's right. I landed in Palm Springs the day that the U.S. overthrew Venezuela. So I felt pretty great about that, I have to say.

Actually, I didn't land in Palm Springs. I landed in nearby Ontario, California, because the entire radar system at the Palm Springs Airport went out. So we had to land after two hours of circling Palm Springs Airport, we had to land in this town 60 miles away. And we had to stay on the tarmac for five hours because it's an

international flight. I was coming from Canada. That meant we were cleared to get off the plane in

Palm Springs, but not Ontario, California, which was 60 miles away. That's how seriously

they take customs and immigration stuff here in this country, the

United States. However, after five hours, when it became clear that the plane wasn't going to move,

they said, just leave. Just get off the plane. It's fine. But yeah, I am reporting to you from Palm Springs,

sunny, beautiful Palm Springs. They're calling me the new Frank Sinatra, folks. I'm here for the Palm Springs

International Film Festival. I'm on the documentary jury. So I'm very lucky. I'm very fortunate.

And I'm very happy to not be in Toronto right now. Have you been enjoying the film festival?

Oh, I love it. It's a festival of festivals. I've been using it as an opportunity to catch up on a lot of the hits from the festival and Oscar season. And I've been having a very nice time. Although I'll tell you, the best movie I've seen so far at this festival, a little movie called Casablanco. Maybe you've heard of it. I saw Leonard Malton introduce it a few days ago, and I met Leonard Malton very briefly
