My background was in wildfire restoration, flood, hurricane cleanup, mold removal.

So I would go to big disaster zones, make a sick home, a healthy home so a family could come back.

And the air was just as much a big part of making a building healthy and safe again.

We would use machines called air scrubbers.

I would compare that scrubber to these little air purifiers.

And I'm like, wow, this is not

apples to apples. Your indoor air is pretty bad because the greatest air filter in the world is

nature and our homes are built so tight that nature doesn't come inside. The outdoor CO2 is 400-ish. Indoor

CO2 is usually about 600 to 800. People are breathing, there's less fresh air. At a thousand,

that's when the brain fog starts kicking in. 1,500, 2,000. That's where you get serious fatigue.

When you say it's stuffy inside, that's your translation for the carbon dioxide is too high.

The NASA study in the 70s got pretty popular where they showed the effectiveness of removing

particulates in VOC in closed setting

and no one has ever been able to replicate that study i've put plants into small rooms and monitored the

CO2 and the air quality and i've never been able to get it to change at all for my opinion i've never

seen replicatable evidence that they work we make jasper we a great air scrubber, but really the mission that we're on here

is just increasing air awareness all across the board.

What is one thing in the air purifier industry you wish people knew what brands aren't talking

about?

Airflow.
