Welcome to the consult. I'm Julia Cowley, retired FBI agent and profiler, and I'm joined today by Detective Ben Pender of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.

And I invited him to come on the show to share the story of Sherry Black.

And Sherry was murdered on November 30th of 2010 in the bookstore she owned and operated with her husband,

Earl Black, in South Salt Lake City, Utah. And this was a case I had the opportunity to profile

alongside another FBI agent during my time in the behavioral analysis unit.

And while that agent isn't here with us today, I am very glad to have Ben, who played a key role in solving Sherry's case alongside
