about easing into mindfulness with your five senses.

It's so important that we use the body to help us come back into the present moment and to get out of our head. So often the mind

is the problem and so we can really use our body as our way to ground ourselves and come back into what is most important,

the moment, the present moment, and we give ourselves that breath of fresh air. So we're going to use

our five senses to do that. There's lots of different ways to do it, but I thought I'd

cover a couple different ones today. There's a five senses exercise that I would like you to try to

memorize and do when you need to, pulling yourself back into your body.

So this mindfulness exercise is called the five senses exercise.

And the goal is to calm our mind

by using our five senses to focus on our environment instead of our thoughts.

So again, so five, we have five senses, we're going to do five different things.

And here are the steps that you'll need to do to complete this exercise.
