He had failed to show up for work, and it had been a week since anyone had heard from him.

In the master bedroom, officers saw men's clothing, neatly folded, and laid out on the bed.

A dressing gown and duvet seemed out of place, as they were carelessly thrown on the floor.

In the ominous silence silence they noticed something. A big red

duffel bag in the bathtub of the on-sweet bathroom. As they walked closer, they saw

that the bag was zipped clothes and locked with a padlock.
