it's good to be back. It's been a while since we've done a regular recording session.

I've had a bit of an irregular recording schedule the past few weeks. You know, Will's been doing

his book tour. I've been in the woods. I've been deep in the wilderness. I emerged alive,

a little bit hungry and kind of tired. You did your annual canoe

trip pretty late in the year, I got to say. Yeah. Yeah. So let me tell you, folks, it is not ideal

to go into Algonquin Park or any equivalent place, you know, Kalarni. We once went there in

November, me and my friend Dan, but this time of year, not ideal.

Having said that, it's not like it's too bad.

You just dress warmly.

You got to have rain gear because the combination of the wet and the cold can be pretty

unpleasant.

I was a little disappointed with the sleeping bag I bought specially for the trip, which was not

really warm enough, but not in a dangerous way, just in a

less comfortable than I'd like to be kind of way. But here you are. You live to tell the tale.

That's right. And I mean, let me tell you. Algonquin Park this time of year, the leaves have changed.

The colors are just beautiful. This was the first trip I've ever done like this where from pushing off in on Lake Kiyushkawi, which by the way, all around there was where Robert Eggers filmed The Witch, pretty cool. I recognized a lot of the, a lot of the spots. Pushing off from there. Did you go to Canoe Lake? No, no. Canoe Lake's in the in the southern part of the park. of the park. That's where I went to camp.
