hello out there welcome to Dark Topic I'm your host Jack Luna this is a special

episode of Dark Topic waking up with Jack Luna often when well every day when

I wake up I'll check my messages social media emails and respond to listeners

you know there's feedback on the episodes there's case suggestions there's

just people saying thanks there's people saying I hate you there's people saying

I love you and you know I respond to all that I take you know probably about

the first 20 minutes 30 minutes of my day doing that and on occasion I've had

people reach out who are victims of crime themselves or are surviving family

members of a victim from a crime and they'll tell me how you know maybe an

episode affected them and usually it's really positive this morning I woke up

and I had a message from this girl Katrina and she's a listener of Dark Topic and

she was responding to my intro from the last episode what Jeffrey did where I

was talking about I'm sorry I met a breath here she was talking about how the

intro really spoke to her and how her sister's case have been covered a few

times and her sister was involved in a high profile crime case and we went back

and forth a little bit and at the end of it I decided hey like well I asked can I

talk to you can we have a conversation and for the first time I'm going to

speak to a family member of a victim in my heinous murder case and take it head

on I think that this will be really good for me to speak to somebody who is directly related

to something and and not have this huge disconnect that we that I as a true crime

podcaster often have when telling these stories I like I was talking about in my
