Hello, thank you for having me on.

Delightful to have you here.

Well, just pleased. So you do a lot for the old wine

library these days with the buying and with the social media side, but maybe we could talk a little bit

about how you ended up getting to that point before we

flush out what it is you do yes how did you end up getting to that point

well we flush out what it is you do it's a very circuitous route as I think

everyone does when they get into wine. So I had

basically gone for my undergrad in French and Polysai so kind of got to the end of my

time I wanted to continue with my French. I had just

been abroad and really loved it. And so I had come to a conundrum. what am I going to do?

Because Polysai is kind of like the new English major

where you can do anything but you have no skills.

And then French, you know, you go to a grad program in French, and it's study Flaubert, study Proust, and then become a professor.

So that is not what I wanted to do.

I wanted something more interesting and applicable to real life,

although I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do yet. I was thinking politics at the time and

that changed. So I had found out about this program called the professional French

master's program at the University of Wisconsin. Oh okay. So you know that that was

great and my French professor down at a University of Rhode Island where I was doing my

undergrad was basically saying oh Kristen you have to go and do this program it is
