Welcome to part two of my interview with legendary 49ers receiver Dwight Clark.

On this edition of the 49ers Insider Podcast, Dwight speaks in depth about his day-to-day struggles of living with ALS.

Dwight and his wife Kelly invited me to their house in Capitola shortly before getting

set for a permanent move to Montana.

Insider Podcast. Thank you for inviting me to your house here. You know, the last time we talked we're down at the at the

restaurant and there was a point where you you asked all the fellows do you have

any questions about the disease how difficult is it for you to talk

about ALS it's it's not hard to talk about. It is a mother of a disease. It's very frustrating as it progresses because you try to, you know, you used to pick up a cup and take a drink and

now I have to, two hands, you know, and make sure my fingers are underneath it so I don't spill it.

I drop 50 things a day.

Moving around in bed, you know, I can't turn on my side or, you know,

so much. I can't turn on my side or you know so most of the time I just sleep flat on my back
