I've got Tom McReynolds of Black Mountain Outfitters. Tom, how you doing?

Good, how are you doing today?

Good, buddy. We just came off kind of a weird Mexico season.

I know you were chasing the mule deer around pretty hot and heavy.

We had Koes deer season.

It's 24, I just finished my 24 season.

I'd have to say it was probably one of the most inconsistent ruts and probably one of the worst antler growth for Coosdere that I've seen down there.

You just came off Mexico as well your season.

How did you guys do? What did you see out there?

I mean we killed some really big deer and we saw some deer that were

giants so we didn't get killed. I mean I'm kind of on the same page as you that I

think that the horn growth in our area wasn't as good as I expected. Rutt was

definitely hit or miss and I kind of feel like it was just on one extreme to the

other as far as when it actually happened. You know we've kind of called some audibles in our future plans as far as hunt dates just because of that.

You know you've been doing Mexico for some time now and it's interesting how you bounce around geographically and you know

certain times where they're running harder northern southern you know

central it's hard to put your finger on exactly when the best times are so I hear you moving your

dates next year you're going to kind of spread things out a little bit.

One of the things I've seen is you know I try and focus the

cooster hunts like you know from anywhere from that 10th through the 30th but it

can happen at any given time in there sometimes Sometimes it can be early, sometimes it can be
