or again, where it is partly sunny after raining for the first month that we've been here.

It seems like spring is in the air, flowers, everything is a bloom, and it's beautiful.

So we're feeling pretty good about Portland so far.

This episode was recorded a couple months ago at this conference I went to in Puebla, Mexico.

It was called the Ciudad de la Cineas, city of ideas for those of you who don't speak even a little bit of Spanish.

It was a strange conference, interesting.

It's like the Mexican version of Ted.

So where Ted is hyper professional, and as some of you will know, sort of got on my nerves

because of the micromanagement and looking over my shoulder and making me take out slides the day before

the thing started and all this hyper-vigilant attitude toward things.

Ciudad de la Cineas is sort of the other extreme.

It's the Latin version of Ted where nobody really knows quite what's going on,

and it's kind of chaotic and charming and frustrating and fun.

Whereas at Ted, I felt claustrophobic because of how much micromanagement was going on.

At Ciudad de la Ciudad de la Cineas, it was chaos.

They flew all these big time people down there.

I mean, Richard Dawkins was there, Deepak Chopra, but for the little thing that I was on,
