Thanks a lot for having me.

To get straight into it, we are not breathing properly.

I started listening to your book a month ago and I can only relate it to the first few

chapters similar to Matthew Walker while we sleep.

Straight away I was absolutely taken back and even after just listening to a few minutes

I then went to training and I started noticing people who are mouth breathing.

I started noticing when I dropped into periods of it.

Talk me through for people that may have been as naive as I was only a month ago so

you'll work and you'll discover everything you're doing at the moment.

Well it seems pretty crazy that we as a species have lost the ability to breathe.

When I first heard this several years ago I thought it was nuts until I met some researchers

who said, well if you don't believe us why don't you just look at the skeletal record

of humans.

I did.

I went to a lab at one of the largest collections of pre-industrial schools in the world

and all of our ancestors have a very different facial structure than we have.

They have very wide mouths and these mouths are so wide that they can accommodate all of

their teeth.

Our ancestors didn't have their wisdom teeth pulled or braces.

They all had straight teeth.

All of them.
