I did a call-in show today.

And we were talking about privileges. And my daughter, when she was younger, I used to tell her dad jokes, right?

So I would say things like, hey, do you know,

in Wisconsin, they have banned the rolling up of hay into those little cylindrical balls,

like those bales of hay, those rolls of hay, they completely banned them. And my daughter

would say, well, why would they ban them? And I said, because the cows can't get a square meal.

And then I would turn myself inside out with a weasy dad laughter that sounds fairly close to either my lungs turning inside out or my soul leaving my body or both or both.

And she would say, you have lost your joke telling privileges.

You have lost your privileges. You, you have lost your privileges,

you have given up, you have voluntarily given up your privileges, which, you know, seems

completely fair and reasonable.
