Today I want to talk about empowerment, about how connected to your body, to your source of divine energy if you're

a woman or masculine energy if you're a man you feel in your life. I find that so many of my

clients and in my own life I've had my own sort of war with my own body. So much of this has to do with the way that we're raised and it's not

just a war with our bodies. That's one portion of this disconnection, but it's really

being disconnected from the truth of our inherent power, the power

that we have to create life, the power that we have very, in our truth.

But when you think about the way that we've been socialized,

we're very, very disconnected.

There is no bridge between really how powerful women are and yes things are changing right

we're hitting some kind of a tipping point no doubt but what I see in my

practice being a psychotherapist for almost 20 years, is even very powerful

women feeling very disconnected from their personal power, even if they're powerful in business, even if they've made a lot of money,

even if they're CFOs and CEOs, the internal struggle about their own worthiness,

people having the imposter syndrome,

feeling like somehow they're not doing it right or somehow they're gonna be found out.

This is a pervasive problem still in our culture.
