I want to talk a little bit about those of you

who own your own businesses.

How many of you listening are in the online space. Are you online entrepreneurs or you

soloponores? Because I've been one probably for the past,

I don't even know, over 10 years, 15 years, maybe 10 years 10 years I guess and I've never been great at the

Promo part of my business have always been so into the content and creating tools and strategies for people

that I never really figured out how to find any tools and strategies to get it out to the people that I

wanted to get it out to in a really big way and part of it is that I didn't

really have an interest so I did be school with my friend Marie Forleo a bunch of years ago and that really really helped me understand how to do it.

But I find with marketing that a lot of my clients have difficulty marketing themselves.

There's something about marketing that just gets a bad name.

I used to call it the Shadow Hustle because that's how it felt when I was sort of promoting my work or promoting something.

I always felt like I was asking friends to do favors or I was tricking people in some way and I'm not sure how

marketing in my own mind got such a bad name and I think some of it is cultural
