If you listened to the show last week, you'll remember that something a little unexpected happened on the way to the shit factory.

We watched an Angel Studios production with Neil McDonough, a Christian film called The Last Rodeo.

And we thought, wow, we're just going to have some fun with this.

We're going to put some fish in a barrel.

We're going to cock the old shotgun.

You know, and just go to town. But we ended up kind of liking it. And on this episode, we decided to

come back with a vengeance. We said, okay, we got to go digging a little deeper. Well, and here's

the thing. We had a film all lined up and ready to go, which was the film that we accidentally put on before the last rodeo last week. And we thought, oh, well, we'll just do that. But honestly, when he took a closer look at it, and what was that movie called Homeland? Homestead. Homestead. If anybody knows about this movie, if somehow you've seen it and think it might be a good film for us to

watch let us know but it just didn't seem like it was quite going to scratch the itch so we didn't

want to run the risk of accidentally watching two pretty good christian movies in a row we wanted

one that was going to be bad yeah we wanted something insane we wanted something in the mold of you know the god's not dead was going to be bad. Yeah, we wanted something insane. We wanted something in the mold of, you know, the God's Not Dead films. And to be clear, I go into every movie with an open art and an open mind. And this movie that we're going to talk about on this episode, listen, if it had wowed me, I would have said so. Yeah, yeah. You know, I like to think, I like to think I'm open to other points of you. Yeah, so we did the most fruitful kind of search we could have done, which was just type, what did you type like Christian movie, Kevin Sorbo or something? Well, yeah, because we thought when we were doing the search, we thought let's limit it to one actor. Yeah. One actor who we know is going to deliver.

And there's this movie called The Reliant, which we were going to watch. And I really, really want to watch The Reliant because it sounds like a completely insane movie. But I think it's over two hours. It's 140 minutes. Yeah. But, you know, that has Kevin Sorbo in it and Eric Roberts, which, you know,

sounds good to me.

But yeah,

this one,

we took one look at it

and we saw, which, you know, sounds good to me.

But yeah, this one, we took one look at it and we saw that Kevin Sorbo, first of all, this movie

written by Kevin Sorbo, it is his directorial debut.
