| 0:34.6 | Now, we're going to talk a little bit about basically what fear is too, |
| 0:39.4 | but I want to remind everybody that we all struggle with fear and worry from time to time. |
| 0:47.8 | And depending on how stressed we are, how busy we are, how healthy we are, we are going to handle it differently, the things that come up. |
| 0:57.9 | In fact, in many cases, we can look at fear as not being such a bad thing. It can actually be good and healthy. |
| 1:08.0 | It causes us to do things that are healthy for us such as we wear seatbelts because we have a fear of what could happen to us if |
| 1:16.2 | we were in an accident. |
| 1:18.8 | And we eat healthy often because we have a fear of what the processed foods and unhealthy ways of eating can do to our health and our wellness. |
| 1:30.0 | Fear keeps us from doing things that will hurt us, like getting too close to a fire or getting |
| 1:38.5 | too close to a ledge when we're out hiking or jumping into a lion's cage at the zoo. |
| 1:45.0 | Like we just wouldn't do that because we have the natural fear of it. |
| 1:50.0 | And it goes beyond even the understanding of that that's not a good thing to do. |
| 1:56.0 | But we just feel the fear of a big ferocious animal, |
| 2:01.0 | and so we wouldn't go too close to it. |
| 2:05.0 | So it's also natural to be concerned about our health, our bank accounts, |
| 2:11.0 | our job status, our children, our parents, and anyone that's important |
| 2:16.8 | to us, and so much more. |
| 2:21.1 | When something threatens one of those things, we take notice, right? |
| 2:27.0 | It comes into our awareness and totally grabs our attention. |
