There's nowhere I'd rather be on the third Monday in April than at the Boston Marathon finish line! This year, I was honored to be asked back to perform a variety of roles in Boston. I was one of the start and finish line announcers at the B.A.A. 5K and invitational miles, I hosted a live show with Keira D'Amato at Glossier's new store on Newbury Street, I was one of the race announcers at the finish on Marathon Monday, and I was the finish line reporter for the world feed broadcast. (Big Papi!!!) It was a fun, rewarding weekend that included run-ins with Eliud Kipchoge (and his content team), a hair-braiding party with one of the best milers in the country, and so much more.

0:15.9	No, I did not run the race.
0:18.1	I was there in an official work capacity.
0:20.8	You're going to probably hear me say the words lucky, grateful, happy, overwhelmed, emotional,
0:28.0	all of those adjectives, but really I feel so lucky and grateful and happy that my job
0:35.0	means working at the Boston Marathon.
0:37.1	So I was hired by the Boston Athletic Association, the BA, for a couple different roles on
0:41.7	race day and beforehand.
0:43.6	I was hosting a live show at the Boston Marathon Expo, which you all of course talk about.
0:49.2	On Saturday, I was one of two start and finish line announcers at the BA 5K alongside
0:54.8	Carrie Tollison, which was so much fun.
0:57.2	And then we moved over to Boile Street where Carrie and I were the host, MCs, announcers,
1:02.2	whatever you would like to call it for the elite miles.
1:05.3	That was also really fun.
1:06.3	We'll talk more about that.
1:07.3	Then of course, marathon Monday, the third Monday in April.
1:11.5	I had three different roles this time.
1:13.8	The first just like last year, I was the World Feed Finish Line reporter.
1:17.6	So the World Feed, that is the broadcast of the Boston Marathon.
1:20.9	That is seen by 800 million viewers around the world.
