Does selling out of inventory ruin your ranking on Amazon?

There's a lot of different opinions out there on this coming from other Amazon sellers

like myself.

I'm just going to give you my opinion on this

based on my own personal experience. So I'm not going to base my answer to this question on

what Billy or Johnny or some other person says. In our experience, selling out of inventory

does affect your ranking, but only temporarily.

I think a lot of people get really nervous when they're trying to order inventory for their

brand, whether that's their first order or multiple orders down the road.

They get really nervous about selling out, about stocking out, running out of inventory.
