Aloha, welcome back to the Anxiety Coaches Podcast.

In today's episode, I want to talk about using rest to loosen your anxiety to make you feel a little bit less

0:39.5

tight and stressed and maybe we could do that by using some rest. The interesting thing is that rest is not

0:50.4

used very much anymore. I mean everybody goes to bed at night and get some sleep but we used to rest. I was reminded of this with summer coming or summer being here. Here we are now at the 4th of July weekend when this is being recorded and I'm thinking

2:16.8

old days and how we used to rest and that now we actually have to make a point of it. We have to talk about it. We don't, it doesn't quite

2:27.2

come as naturally anymore. We're always kind of on the go. So some of the things that stuck out to me in this article and I'll have a

2:36.7

link to this in the show notes if you want his entire post. But one of the things I highlighted is that he said, we rarely rest anymore.

2:47.0

And that really resonated with me.

You know, we know all the reasons, social media, all our devices and so forth and so on, but Leo says in his article, think about it.

When you get a break, what do you normally do?
