I'm so thrilled to be back here.

No, first of all, I can't believe the first time I was here was allegedly 2012.

I'm just, you were one of the early people who just wasn't us.

Who wasn't on this show, who like wandered in, yeah. No, it feels like a reunion episode of Gunsmoke or something. Like, Miss Kitty's back. You're the Bert Reynolds. Yes. You've shown early and then went on to do bigger and better things. And I'm writing for this year's Oscars yet again. Oh, yay, that's true. I know. Which I shared on the internet when it was announced at Kimmel Associates. What this really means is that Lewis is writing the Oscars. And you should know, by the way, that behind the scenes, like, I am like playing ball and giving him the jokes he wants to hear. But I am sliding in names occasionally, like references to old speeches, et cetera. And, you know, occasionally, because he himself has a really good memory of pop culture, will go for it. So I'm doing the hard work of being like, oh, what if you brought up Linda Hunt? You know? See, yeah, I'm thinking, I'm seeing a solid five on like Jerry Lewis and Dorothy Malone.

Oh, please. A lot of that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

That's, this is what we expect. It's what we want. It's what we need.

How is your pandemic? How is your strike? It's been that long since we've really gotten to hang out with you. Um, you know what? Actually productive in terms of this podcast. I really sat down and thought, I'm going to do two things during the pandemic. I'm going to work out since there's nothing else to do. And then also watch every movie I've said I even had a vague interest in. And I really caught up on every, like, I got new, I watched like the prime of Miss Gine Brody like 36 times, you know, whatever. Just like things like that. And now, like, I feel like I have far fewer gaps in my knowledge now, really.

I still am actually pretty green when it comes to literally all foreign cinema, I have to say.

Like, I'm pretty, like, American in an Achilles' Heel sort of way when it comes to movies.

But, no, I saw everything.
