When you’re stuck in a rut, everything feels like it’s working against you, you then get negative, feel frustrated at the smallest of things, and in a short space of time you’ve gone from a glass half full to a glass basically empty kind of person. This happened to me over the last few months, so Tom and I fire up the mic, discuss how I got stuck in a rut, how I got out, and then aim to give you tactical skills of how you can get out of a rut, whatever that rut is. in a rut. And it's quite often because life circumstances have changed. You've maybe

changed your job. You've had a baby. You've moved. How's like things have basically turned

your life upside down. Lots of different things have happened. And you kind of wake up one

day and you're like, oh, my God, I am, I feel like I'm stuck. I'm in this kind of under

this pressure. I'm under this stress. I'm under these problems. And I need help getting

it out. And that's quite often when people go to see a coach, they start this process

of exploring their options and stuff. But hopefully I'm going to use sort of a personal

anecdote today. We'll probably use some other anecdotes. And then we'll throw in some logical

science and coaching based information along the way. And of course, Tom, my co-host is

tired? Is this just not sleeping with the heat or something? No, you're not a dad yet.

But when you become a dad, there's this thing called baby sleep regressions. And we're

right in the midst of a baby IV sleep regressions. So last night, she was still up to like 1 a.m.

And then, yeah, so I've stepped on average like four hours for last five nights. So I know

exactly how you feel. A couple of days ago, Loki needed a wee in the middle of the night

now to get up. So I'm sure that's exactly the same. Yeah, there's no difference between

these two scenarios. And I'll be honest, it didn't help with the weekend that I went
