Talk about this whole area and what it's like for you as a dad of young children

And incidentally, I was raised on those stories of these great saints that would like, you know, wear ruts on the floor with their knees because they prayed so much.

And that's great.

But it can be a little demotivating and guilt inducing as well.

Because I remember at one point, I said to myself, I'm going to start every morning with prayer.

And I set a timer. And since I work from home, I could get down on my knees like a weirdo in my office.

Set the timer for like, I think it was 10 minutes. And then I'm sitting there praying. And I'm like,

oh, I must have made a mistake. I must have set the timer for like an hour or something because it's been so long I get up. It had been like seven minutes.

But yeah, I think I think this can be guilt inducing and also, and this sounds like an excuse,

but you're busy, right? If I don't have much time, in fact, I can't remember the last time my alarm clock went off because I got a kid running into my room. And so what I say, you know, in the book,

I encourage people just to crack open your Bible every day. And some people have said,

that's not enough and that's true. But I'll tell you what, it's a lot better than not cracking

it open. And if you crack it open and you just read a couple of verses, you do that 365 times, it adds up to a lot of time
