Often you hear coaches and marketers recommend that you take your online relationships offline,

0:13.4

which I absolutely agree with.

0:15.1

But today, I am sharing the immense value of the opposite, taking your offline relationships online, more

0:25.3

specifically connecting with your local network on LinkedIn and engaging and educating via that

0:33.1

powerful platform. There is gold in your local market, which you may be ignoring or not fully

0:40.4

1:49.4

to a local referral partner to landing that ideal client is exponentially faster than trying

1:56.9

to cultivate connections solely online.

2:00.1

The other amazing thing about local networking is that

2:03.0

there is a natural interconnectedness. You live in the same area. You automatically have that

2:09.6

in common. Most likely there are many activities and people in common as well. There is a bond

2:16.9

that forms faster when we can see and touch someone.

2:21.4

In some ways, it feels safer and easier to make recommendations. And those referrals from our

2:27.5

local connections, those requests from our local connections bear a lot of weight. If you feel that your local community is too small,
