Welcome to Garumpy Old Geeks, I'm Jason DeFilippo. And I'm Brian Schultmeister.

Quick little follow up on the new quote unquote ad system that I mentioned last week.

That's harder than it sounds and more expensive than it sounds.

And this has been a kind of a really rough week for time. Day 233 sober today by the way.

Woohoo. But as a lot of people know, I'm in a 12 step program and I did step five this week,

which was very time consuming and very emotionally training. So I did not get around to doing

a whole lot of work, but I'm reaching out to everybody that wrote in and we're just going to

manually do it. Fuck it. Okay. That's the way it's going to happen. But also, you know, for the

uninitiated Jason, what is step five? Uh, none of your business. Okay. I'm sure I can Google it.

You can Google it, but it's no, the step five is basically that part where you sit down with

another person and tell them every horrible thing you've ever done in your life. Oh, well,

that sounds fun. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It was an emotionally draining week. Yeah.

Mm hmm. Yeah, but I probably took a week. Actually, not that I'm kidding. You know, yeah, yeah.

But between between three hours a day in recovery, two hours a day doing boot up and life.

So yeah, it's been been kind of a rough week. So, uh, but I did determine that trying to build

an automated ad system where people can just come in and do itself serve is really dumb. So

it's not worth the effort. No, the juice isn't worth the squeeze as you like to say.

Yes. Yes. No, you know what? This is going to be, uh, this is going to be me getting really,

really good at text expander again. That's what it is. All right. I did have a little bit of time
