Welcome to Grumpy old geeks, I'm Jason DeFilippo. And I'm Brian Schultmeister.

Brian got a little housekeeping this morning. Okay. I was listening to the

accidental tech podcast last night. And I was shocked. I was shook as

floored. I just got to say to my to my core. I was shook to my core.

Felt in the floor, shook to the core.

This show, the the tech show, which I always like to think of as our

nemesis, and they don't even think of us at all, because they're 10 times of

our size. And they had zero ads this week. And they're like, yeah,

there's the market has dried up completely since January, it's gone

through the floor. It has just been going and going and going, which to

me is just mind boggling because podcast ads still pack a punch better than

most ads. Anyway, they talked about how they were, you know, shifting over

mostly to a member supported model, which we have been for 70 years now.

Yep. Again, well, we're kind of member, not so much supported.

Not keeping us falling through the roof.

Yes, yes, it's, I was doing the numbers this morning. I'm like, I

used to make $15 an hour doing the show and adjusted for inflation and

costs. It actually costs me about $3 an hour to do the show now.

So you got to stop getting those old foods burritos. I did. Oh, I
