So far over 20 people have been killed by the government who were trying to crush the protest.

They've installed a curfew, they've brought the military out onto the street, and in some cases we've even seen protesters are actually firing back at the police with live rounds.

when there was a there was a planned protest against the fair increase for the Santiago Metro and essentially what happened is a bunch of students got together and they decided to skip the fair by jumping the turnstiles and like disabling the turnstiles.
