Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of Monday Meditations.

0:04.8

To start the week off right, the phrase we're going to be meditating on is the hope that outlives disappointment.

0:12.2

Disappointment is tough.

0:14.1

It's really heavy.

0:16.1

No one likes to be disappointed.

0:17.7

I don't know one person that thrives off of disappointment, unless you're

0:21.3

turning it around in your head mentally and you're viewing it as fuel to better your circumstances

0:51.3

And sometimes it's deeper than just sadness, and it's different than grief.

1:09.5

present anchor, if you will. And we are often told,

1:12.8

you know, just stay strong, dig deeper, you got this, you know, use your inner strength as if

1:18.6

our own inner reserves are enough to carry us through the hardest moments of life. We know that

1:23.2

they aren't, but we're reminded of that from our external friends and family. But while resilience

1:29.7

has its place, the truth is there are valleys that are way too dark and losses that are way

1:36.2

too great for our quote unquote inner strength to be our answer. So where do we turn when both

1:42.6

our strength and our support system seems to fail us?
