I'm really glad you're here.

This episode is 600 and some episodes, I'm running out of ways to describe them because there

are similarities right some people are famous some people aren't famous all different

ages all different kind of career paths and all that but they're all I bring them to you because I want to introduce you to these people they're fucking interesting people and I'm so

glad that I can bring them to you and I'm so grateful to you for giving me the excuse to hang out with these people.

You know, it's the symbiotic relationship between you and them and I'm kind of like in the middle of it

getting off on both sides.

It's fantastic.

It's the best job in the world.

I used to think about that when I was younger.

I've been a lot younger like having a talk show would be really fun but I

didn't want to have a talk show like you know David Letterman or you know Johnny Carson for those of you

old enough to remember Johnny Carson I didn't it wasn't about entertainment I

wanted to have a show like the late

late show where I could just have someone on and just talk like a Charlie Rose

kind of show.

Because it was one of the only things I ever saw where I really...

Envy isn't the word. I didn't envy them, but I felt like that is the coolest thing ever. Just be able to sit down for an hour, an hour and a half, whatever it is, with someone interesting and just

connect.
